A Haughty Pair........

............of Swans grazing. I call them haughty because they have such aloof expessions on their faces as if to say "well - what are you staring at?" There is a dyke over the bank just behind them and they suddenly appeared over the bank and started to eat whatever was growing in this field. I have a bit of a weakness for swans but am extremely wary of them - they are very big and powerful and I wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of them!

The weather is very dull and dreary and the chances of seeing anything very exciting is, I think, a bit remote. Temp.is 3 deg C but feels colder.
