Pancakes
Having had Eilidh here two days last week, this little button (my favourite three year old) came to join us today. She cycled up on her 2 wheeler from near to the Western General, a good mile and a half!
We started by making pancakes, which as you can see were a great success.
She wanted to watch a dvd next so went and found Elf in the cupboard, I didn't even know we had it but she'd spotted it on some previous visit. Unfortunately the film disc wasn't there so we had to think again. She went to have another look and came back with Life of Brian, which I didn't really think was appropriate! In the end, the only suitable dvd was Sound of Music, so that was what we watched, she loved it! I'm going to have to find some other options in the charity shops though.
This afternoon, she went home with her mum and I drove down and dropped some things off at their house. Then, after a full morning and half an afternoon of mist and haar, finally the sun came out. Hooray! . I quickly hung out the towels I'd washed and then, next thing I knew, when my back was turned, it rained! Hmmmph!
Basically apart from when Isobel was here, it was a fairly quiet day. I was glad I had a steak pie organised for dinner as it was not really salad weather. Having said that however, we are enjoying having all those lettuces in the garden.
Keep well and safe everybody.
Steps today 8638, not great but better than yesterday
