Ahhh memories......

So we went into Civic today, Andrea wanted a look around the shops and I wanted to go for a few pints at a pub I used to drink in when I lived in Canberra.

The pub is The Phoenix, an Irish pub in town that I used to regularly frequent & have fond memories of having the best pint of the black stuff this side of Dublin...... Unfortunately memories are often best left that way. The pint was fine but not great & the place just didn't feel the same as before. I had my first whiskey since being in Oz, a Highland Park.... singular as Andrea wouldn't let me for two reasons, one it was the afternoon & two it was very expensive !!!!

Andrea was on the hard stuff.... straight Tomato Juice.... hardcore!!!

We walked home, I just took the dogs for a walk and Andrea is making Mexican for dinner .... yum yum
