Drenched poppies

It has been pouring with rain for most of the day.  I had to go to Shrewsbury and the journey was horrendous with heavy rain and spray.

I went for a walk around the village as the rain got lighter in the late afternoon.  It had pretty well stopped by the time I got home and I noticed that the field poppies in the garden had been well battered by the rain. In my opinion they're pretty regardless of their condition.
