It's raining on my Orchids
It's a grey, wet day here today and, as I am stuck on Standby for work I really did not want to go far to capture an image. So, I have had a quick play with the macro lens at home. Had to be quick, England are about to play in the Six Nations Rugby of which I'm a big fan.
I'm still trying to work out what I can achieve, and how best to use, this renowned lens. Although flowers are not my forte I thought this was a good subject to practise on, especially as it was covered in water. Now, I know some very clever people (you know who you are) who do something with 'focus stacking' but, as I don't yet know where to start with this technique, this is a single image straight out of camera. Thoughts?
Thank you everyone for your fabulous comments on 'Sunrise over the Scottish Borders' yesterday, I look forward to, and love, receiving your feedback.
