As I had the camera nicely focused on the crab apples for this week's challenge, I realised that a female grasshopper was invitingly dancing around for me.  I had, of course, got the wide angle on the camera body ready for today's challenge, so I think she was deliberately tormenting me.  I have no doubt, that if I had raced back and swapped the wide lens for the macro she would have disappeared, the little minx.

As you can see from the sky it is very dark and gloomy here despite only being 8pm. It has rained heavily for most of the day.  Still we are due for a bit of a change tomorrow I gather, so that's something to look forward to ...
