Folded

Febchallenge today was twisted. This is a bit of the cliff along the coast of Orkney, near Birsay. At some stage in the dim and distant past the strata have been bent and twisted. The scale is difficult to convey, but the vertical in this is about 10 feet...

It started off a beautiful morning here, despite the cold wind. I knew I wanted this shot for twisted, and coupled it with walking the dogs. The dogs didn't enjoy the walk as much today as normal, last time they were out that way they both encountered the electric fence. They remembered and were a little unsettled....

Back home in time to watch the rugby and avoid the squal which has just blown in.
