Hawk in the yard

Late yesterday after I had posted the red lantana,  this hawk flew into the yard at the deer feeder and stayed long enough for two photos..one with his back turned and this one.  I wanted to post it since it is very rare that we have a hawk this close to the house.    It has probably been three years since we had seen him.  

To the peridontal specialist today to get the broken tooth out.  First step in the implant process that will probably take until February.   Maybe.   Right now I have no real pain and the numbing is wearing off except right by my nose.  A stitch in my gum that makes the area look black.  It really is not too awful noticeable when I smile which is not really a problem since in public..I wear a mask!!      

I had lunch so now it is close to supper and I am wondering what I should try to eat.   Nothing hot per the instructions because of the blood clotting so I guess I will eat ice cream!!!   


Tomorrow will be a better day.
