Lonely

I think we can say our attempt at a wildflower flowerbed was not a great success. I noticed this solitary flower today, it is lovely though.
A lonely morning for me- girls are school and Floss away to work- imagine!
A doorstep visit in the afternoon perked me up.
Girls arrived home hot and sweaty, Nelly from her bike and Betty from a looong trek home from MaccieD’s. Surely the novelty will wear off.
