Mysterious visitor

This is not what you would expect to find on the Rose Bush! It is a praying mantis possibly of African origin, but could be European and they can apparently fly. It was found quite near Waitrose and it is possible that it hitched a ride on something there. Or it could be an escaped pet!
It’s very unusual and the children all enjoyed saying hi to it.
