Black Pheobe

We get a reasonable number of these around the neighborhood - they are flycatchers, with that characteristic dipping flight .   This was taken first thing in the morning. Orange sun through the smoke haze.  
Could have taken the same shot from my front door as yesterday in the evening, with pyrocumulus rising behind Black Mountain ... the air was better in the afternoon.  The high temperature was still 37C, but not for so long.  Today (typing early on the 20th, Pacific time) is supposed to be cooler. 

btw, that fence post is squint .. the fire hydrant is upright ..
