Carving the Duck

Lao Jie Fang is an amazing restaurant in Nanchang. It is decorated as though it is an old village with a village square forming the main open plan dining area, corridors that look like old streets with private rooms that have entrances as though they are houses, a ballroom that looks something like the village theatre / opera house...even the ceiling is painted to represent the sky. All in all a really cool place.

We went here today for Mrs CM's birthday and the food was as good as the decoration. Of course we had to have Peking Duck and here it is being carved in the doorway of our room.
