I was up quite early (thanks to loud rain inches from my face) but it took me a good few hours to get myself moving.

Everyone had a late breakfast then started taking tents down and packing up cars. We set off for home at about 1pm, after lots of cuddles from the resident campsite spaniel. Typically it was the sunniest it had been the whole time.

We stopped halfway home to get some service station lunch and happened to meet Paul and Elly there.

Got home, put a load of muddy washing on, then crashed on the sofa and ordered pizza and pretty much didn’t move for the rest of the evening.
