New reality day 23
Easel or scaffolding?
I really don't know the correct wording for this horrible collage. But in 20 years time I'll look at myself in these pictures and think I was okay. So why not. This is definitely something to remember. My legs were shaking and it took me a long time to be able to climb up there. It was easier on the wall on the right side of the fireplace, but really difficult to get down. Tomorrow I'll have to do it again. Twice. I've only put the base paint now. Then it will need two layers of white to look good.
I was also a demolition woman today. I took down some door framing that was built to make end of corridor smaller (why would you do that???). I want it light and airy. So I used the drill and a hammer and a crowbar and a little bit of my husband to get rid of those. I was quite proud of myself.
We still have the biggest part that I wanna take down still to do. A upper half of a wall in the kitchen. So the bottom will be a kitchen island. There's also some electricity traveling there, so we need to be careful with that one. But I'm still confident we can do the demolition part. Then after we know all, we need to get an electrician to do all the things that need to be done at once.
