Feeding Time

I always think greenfinches are argumentative creatures, threatening each other in squabbles over feeder perches. Today was different. Yes, eight of them fighting for 4 perches, but young birds were actually being fed on the wing. I haven't seen birds being fed in flight before.

I had a couple of jobs to do in town, one of which was putting my head in my hairdresser's door to show her my hair colour. They didn't recognise me with long hair, mind you, the mask helped my disguise!
