Anniversary eve

Tomorrow is our 5th wedding anniversary. This time 5 years ago i was slightly tipsy in the hotel bar. Now i am sober waiting for the laundry in the wshing machine. How times have changed.

Sadly i have to work tomorrow, but in the evening we shall celebrate. Kind of a double celebration as since Mrs G is now.in her newly decorated home office, (formerly the pink room) we now have our dining table back. So tomorrow night, we're having fajitas! And booze.

Pictured above is our cake topper. We got it especially made. Being a massive geek i was overjoyed to be portrayed as batman. And hes wesring the same tartan i wore!

Its quite possibly my most treasured posession.
