Exploring

I’d planned to see Lucy in Aberdyfi today but a change of plan meant I had a day to explore. Yesterday’s weather was horrendous and I (shamefully) didn’t leave the house so I was itching to get out today.

I headed out to Llangollen to do a 7 mile walk which would finish at Castell Dinas Brân. The town was full, as expected, but as soon as I’d gone past the canal, I didn’t see another soul. It wasn’t the most exciting walk but it was just good to get outside and it was nice to have my packed lunch in the castle ruins, looking out over the glorious Welsh hills. The biggest result of the day was not getting lost using the stupid written directions in the book. A first for me.
