Storm

Much as I like the array of lightning shots I have seen, as ever it is the structure of the clouds that fascinates me (plus I'm a handheld can't be arsed with a tripod kind of guy). This big mother of a thunder cloud was hanging around for ages chucking out lightning almost constantly. At the same time to the left of an image a rather lovely sunset was taking place hence the orange at the base of the cloud. And finally I got lucky and caught a bit of lightning in my photo (might need to be large) which just goes to emphasise the size of the cloud!
