Lilac Swathe Of Purple Asters

Today we were heading home, so we decided to break the journey by stopping at Chatsworth House Gardens on the way. It was lovely, well distanced with good one way systems through the narrow paths, not too busy and the gardens looked lovely in the sunshine.

The rockery was looking splendid with plenty of ferns that Sushi loved but I particularly liked this large lilac swathe of purple asters.
