Japanese Anemone

The day began warm, windy and very, very wet. No long lie for me as the ADT engineer was coming at 8.30 to check my alarm system.

I did some general housework, made some soup and then headed off to pick up friend Catherine. We had booked a table for lunch at a local garden centre. Met two friends from church and an ex pupil from the infant class I taught in 1973.

The weather had greatly improved by the time we had finished lunch so we enjoyed a walk round the plants. C bought a few small plants but I restrained myself having bought some yesterday at Rouken Glen. 

I have some pink Japanese Anemones in my garden but I rather like this pretty white flower complete with visiting hover.
