Really Edinburgh council

Came back tonight and labelled up the bottles of beer before taking Kilda for her evening walk. On the way we passed the new traffic lights at the end of the street. With York Place being dug up for the tram works our street is the diversion. This meant the council decided to put up traffic lights at the crossroad for pedestrians, as you can’t push the buttons at the moment due to Covid they are on a standard cycle, which includes a stop for pedestrians on each light change. The traffic is now backing up all along our street during the day. Well done Edinburgh council. There was a young seagull in the gardens that wasn’t interest / able to fly away from us. Kilda found this very entertaining until I managed to grab her and pull her off it. She just couldn’t figure out how to pick it up. It must have been able to fly as it was at the bottom of the garden by the time I looked around. She then had a good run trying to find it before we left.
