Having heard on the local weather last night warnings about high tide I checked the tide times and took Misty down to the estuary this afternoon to see if it was going to be across the road.  Indeed it was.  I did see a 4x4 going through it but other people were more sensible and were waiting for it to subside.  I've never seen so many cars queued along the road just waiting!  We were completely cut off which I'm used to but it surprised a lot of the other people.  I had my wellies on and walked so far until the water got to the top of them. Then along came this guy on a bike and I like how Misty was watching him.  He did make it through and the water was nearly to the top of his wheels!
