Bring on the storm

When it gets unbearably hot, we do our rain dances.  Praying to the rain gods is not something we would do in Ireland where those particular deities bestow their bounty liberally and without encouragement.  But we really need some rain here in south west France.  The land is parched as are we.  The temperatures have been in the high thirties for far too long and I am tired of sitting in a soup of sweat.  So, bring on the storm that is forecast for tonight.  Let it bring cooler days and nights.  I want to sleep under the sheets once again!
