Newfoundland is a place on earth.
Newfoundland represents the first stage of new residential development at Canary Wharf and has been designed by renowned Mayfair-based architects, Horden Cherry Lee and structural engineers WSP.
Newfoundland’s striking appearance stems from its transparent diagrid structure, also notably used in another famous London landmark, ‘The Gherkin’.
Recently topping out to reach its full height of 220 metres (729 ft.), the Build to Rent tower, comprising 636 private rented apartments and a 10,000 sq. ft. M Restaurant and Grill, will be a world class mixed use development over a total of 58 floors, at the western end of the Canary Wharf Estate, close to the River Thames.
I guess even Him upstairs approves!
