A day of contrasts

Lots of showers, exceptionally windy but with moments of quiet. We decided to go to a farm shop and cafe just outside Stafford and have a walk by the Trent and Mersey Canal. We walked on the edge of Shugborough Estate too but it was shut due to the high winds.
Lovely dinner courtesy of the butchers at the Farm Shop and the customary game of cards has transferred to Stafford.
