Luscious Lemon Sponge

Our last day with Andrew and Katie. I made a super hot chicken madras, and a super cool lemon gateau! This is from the first Bake Off book, and one of my favourite recipes.
We did some sorting out of things for them to take home with them and Andrew helped me list a couple of things to sell on EBay.
We had a great game of Carcassonne to finish a lovely week together.
