Puzzling

It's been such miserable weather for the past few days and today was no exception so we were determined to get out for a walk anyway, so we put on our waterproofs and headed for Penrhyn Castle in Bangor & walked around the grounds, there were quite a few snowdrops out but weather was so grey the outdoor pictures didn't come out too well.
We saw the sign for Sunday dinner at the cafe so we indulged - lured by the free piece of Victoria Sandwich that went with it, but after stuffing our faces we had to go round the grounds again to walk it all off.

There was a little group of young Monkey Puzzle trees (chilean pine) in the grounds and the leaves are quite fascinating close up.
