Zabulon skipper

Again! These little guys have been all over this week! They seem to like the pink butterfly bush, but not the purple this year. The purple is usually butterfly haven. But , haven't seen much of the clearwings or monarchs or even too many swallowtails. The cabbage white numbers seem to have picked up this year. I suppose it is because I have dill int eh garden again.

I hope to get to Montezuma Wildlife Reserve tomorrow, though we may have missed the shorebirds going south.Starting to venture out a little more.....I feel like now or maybe not for another year. I am afraid this could be the low point before it all  blows up again. I hope I am just paranoid .
