Wildflowers
Today’s circuit walk around Lime Kiln Bay Wetlands was only 5 km, but surprisingly wild for a place so close to Sydney. The bay was lined with mangroves and reedy swamps, cockatoos screeched overhead, the wildflowers were out. Apart from the pink spider flower, a grevillea, I had to look them up.
The first extra is eggs and bacon (dillwynia retorta), and the second looks like Sydney green wattle.
