A fruitful day!

Lucy has so many cooking apples in her garden, many of which have fallen off the tree, so I decided to make a couple of Mary Berry’s deep apple pies, and then freeze the rest.
I have frozen about 4 kg! There are still masses more. Friends are coming to supper tonight so we shall have the home grown Charlotte potatoes you can see, home grown runner beans, and home grown apple pie!!!
I love this new found self sufficiency!!!
