No entry!

I went for a walk around the village this morning.  I didn't take my usual route around the castle as the Shropshire Outdoor Fair was going on and I didn't wish to spend £6 to walk through the usually free castle.  I didn't need to brush up on my outdoor skills and bushcraft either!

It's rare to see the gatehouse doors closed but they gad to restrict entry.  It will be good income for the castle though.
