Bosham Itchenor ferry

Gill with our bikes on the Bosham to Itchenor ferry. One of the harbour master staff gave us a map of the Saltenr's Way which avoids the road for much of the way to the Witterings. We cycled to West Wittering Beach but with the spring tide and sea rough from the wind there was very little beach visible. The car parking was looking near full, with several 'beach parties' set up in between cars. £9 to park so we were glad we cycled!

The tide was high at 14:40 so on our way back we waited at Itchenor for it to fall before catching the ferry back. Pushing Gill's bike with it's electric motor through sea water not a good idea! We detoured through Bosham Hoe to go around a flooded section of road too. ~30km and an interesting/entertaining route.
