Theatre!!

We've been to the theatre! 

Our daughter managed to get us all tickets for The Minack Theatre in Porthcurno, which is not far from their house although the roads are 'interesting'.

The theatre has adapted their programme to align with government guidance during the pandemic and is showing live performances which only involve one or two actors/performers. We had tickets for the afternoon performances of Willie Russell's Educating Rita with just the two actors - Stephen Tompkinson and Jessica Johnson. Seats were allocated with alternate rows, spaces between seats and a one way system was in place. 

I was thrilled to be there - what a place! Built into the cliff, you can see the rounded stage way down below. The photo in Extras was taken  from our seats - superb view of the stage . . . and the sea. 

Excellent performance. Great weather. A wonderful experience.
