Blackberry and apple
for freezing. The apples were windfalls and a mixture of cookers and eaters ( many had the miserable moth larvae inside) and the blackberries were picked a few weeks ago. I cooked and sieved them before adding to the apples as I have a friend who gets very ill if she eats any small seeds. I also have a friend who is very allergic to garlic so I never freeze things with it in case I accidentally kill her! Only joking but it is serious and I can add it later when she isn't invited.
