Border Colours
Many reasons to be cheerful came my way today.
I waited out the heavy rain first thing in the morning before heading out for my run - six kilometres just under the six minutes per kilometre limit and so very pleasing. I avoided getting soaked too.
After lunch we headed down to the allotment and harvested tomatoes, carrots, green beans and blueberries. Cropping this season has been as good as I can ever remember.
Then home to the garden. The annual beds are still (just) holding on and in the failing light they really were a sight for sore eyes.
