Cyclamen hederifolium

Fifteen years ago when we first started with Amber Nook Kanyl gave us some Cyclamen from his expanding clump.  Not really being sure about the conditions they needed we put them on the "rockery" under the verandah.

We must have chosen a suitable place as they have thrived and seeded, always providing a good display.  Today they were flowering well.   I noticed that not only have they seeded into a gap between the Tarmac and the rocks, they seem to be growing quite well.

It seemed to make an appropriate blip as today is Kanyl's birthday and he was coming round to have a BBQ.  The BBQ was out as it had rained on and off all day.   So we cooked and ate the food indoors, and a good time was had by all.
