Rain forecasted

We had a walk before breakfast and although rain was forecast we got back just before it started. Amazon delivery was expected but was not out for delivery so we decided that was a good opportunity to go out again we headed up the hill and to the next village. The view back over the village is really lovely from this road.
Again we managed to stay dry.
Baked a cake after lunch and had an hour reading.
Hubby managed to get the lawn mowed before the heavy rain arrived.
Watched a film this evening and it was absolutely rubbish, but we kept watching as we thought it would improve. It was chilly again but we put the fire on so Hetty had the rug to herself.
