Distractions
Sometimes, it's hard to concentrate on the job in hand. Like today, when this was the room I had to train in, and this amazing view of Edinburgh Castle was the backdrop. Why on earth would I want to look at the participants when they were competing with THIS?!!
The beautiful city was actually laid out in panoramic glory on 3 sides of the room, so using my trainer's guile I positioned myself in front of the blank wall so that the participants weren't distracted from what I was saying.
I've been blip-less for a few days due to technical difficulties at home - well, a cow had an urge to scratch its rump and chose to do it against our telegraph pole, bringing down the telephone wires. I LOVE living in the country - you have to be prepared for all sorts of unpredictable conditions. You can imagine what fun it was explaining to the engineers the nature of our problem. It has taken a while to get back connected again.
I'll catch up both with comments and with uploading blips for missing days over the next couple of evening. Please be patient :-D
