Long Gone

Just finished this wonderful book which tells the story of a young girl brought up in a Traveller family in 1930s Scotland, in North Perthshire and Angus to be specific. It’s really worth a read if you’re interested in rural culture and how the seasons influenced where people went and what they did in these far off days. Fascinating stuff.
