Oak trees

Most of our steep hillside is covered with beech trees that grow on the chalk.  But there is a patch at the top of the hill which is relatively flat and all the trees there are oaks.  Probably there is some clay that they like overlying the chalk.  I decided to do a composite portrait of them today.
