A burst of colour

I called on our daughter this afternoon. She has worked so hard on her garden over the last few months and was delighted with these Gladioli which have just flowered. On the way home I detoured to try to take a picture of the wheat in the fields but the farmer had harvested it! So Gladioli it is.
