Boy cat shenanigans

Jasper's mate Shadow appeared today with a good deal of his undercarriage shaved. Without inspecting his playground equipment I'm sure that he's at last been neutered.

Shadow's dad has struggled to keep his long fur groomed. It's not from want of trying so he decided to have the matted parts dealt to when he was fixed.

This is good news. Shadow has continued to only play with the girlfriend next door. But with Jasper his play quickly shifted to unwanted sexual advances.

Neutered at 9 weeks old, Jasper looked puzzled with a "wtf expression on his face". Now I don't need to have an awkward conversation with Shadow's dad or explain to Jasper that his sexuality is his business, not mine.

Phew!

Today there was just a bit of harmless play and swatting so I guess Shadow's hormones are settling.

I've generally shuffled around managing some pottering, resting, and blowing my nose.

Today's gratitude: For a few hours of sunshine.
