Socially Distanced 80th Birthday

My mother in law was 80 at the weekend.  We held a very small, socially distanced celebration at her home on the Sunday, complete with a family photo with L, her sister and mother making appropriate efforts to remain 1 metre plus apart.

It's hard to make arrangements for such celebrations with the current rules (unless of course you totally ignore them).  I suppose we are now of an age where we are being told we are more susceptible to the risks associated with the virus, whereas younger people are either receiving messages, or ignoring the guidance and they won't be so severely impacted even were they to catch it.
