Ming Dynasty Roof Ridge Tile

Went to Glasgow in the sleet to take Mum out. Enjoyed some time at the Burrell Collection where we also had a cuppa and took the dog for a walk.

J loved this 16th century Chinese roof ridge tile-being into all things house build related-and suggested that we do something in a similar vein for the new house!

Some of the stained glass in the Gallery reminded me of a piece we have salvaged from my childhood home which we plan to incorporate into mum's bit.

Skyped Son No 1 this morning (always good) and he is thinking about his design for a stained glass panel for beside the front door.

Great to have such talented children!
