River Weaver by the Salt Works

I went for a walk along the River Weaver this morning from the River Park caravan park down to the Town Bridge at Winsford. It is a good walk and there are some interesting information boards telling the history of salt mining along here with some fascinating old photos. It is hard to believe this area was once so industrial.
