Firewood forage

A benefit of the electricity company clearing the woodland on Neil's farmland is the convenient length they cut down the silver birch trees! I didn't need the chain saw or the bow saw once. We just piled them into the trailer.

A good 20 minutes foraging saw the trailer full and we were soon trundling back with Fin and Niamh riding on the back. Great fun, even if it was bitterly cold.
