The Edge of Rylstone Edge
Day 2 of backblipping
The weather was not the best for walking following breakfast, however we had a great view of a truck and trailer full of straw bales being unloaded by the farmer next door at the B&B which entertained us whilst we waited for the worst of the rain to pass over. Hats off to the truck drivers manoevering the big wagons around those tight little Dales villages!
Today's walk was a loop from Linton and back via Burnsall and Hebden (without the bridge). Tasty takeaway lunch in Grassington followed by a curry in the car park for dinner - despite the precautions, neither of us feel particularly happy about sitting in places to eat just yet.
Extra is of Mr. Lonely Hearts the bull. He was in a field across from a mini-herd of fellow Belted Galloways who had a different bull in with them (who we called Dave). Mr Lonely Heart was pretty distressed to see Dave in with the ladies and we saw him mournfully leaning over the wall voicing his displeasure pretty much every time we passed him over the weekend.
