It was about more than the tea.

We went out walking locally in the morning. Nice and quiet. Good for wellbeing.

Watched the First Minister’s briefing at lunchtime. Incident associated with the Perthshire factory continues. And it sounds like face coverings in certain situations in schools will be confirmed tomorrow.

Late afternoon we went to see old friends who’ve been shielding due to ill health. A proper socially distanced visit in the garden. Last saw them before lockdown. Great to chat in person not just by WhatsApp (which is fine!). We’d taken a drink with us but they insisted on making us a cuppa. And my wife never says no to tea. So nice to see them.

Drove west. Stormy wet forecast tomorrow.
