Not a back blip

First day of a two-week break from online teacher training. We had the doggie bag from our Indian dinner on Sunday night, with added chickpeas and tomatoes, homemade raita and Mexican tortilla breads. Delicious! Am now relaxing for a bit before bed.

A housework day today. We miss our cleaning lady, but think we'll try to keep doing it ourselves for the moment as we’re still watching our pennies. Bb is so much faster than me! He almost finishes the first floor and I haven't done half the ground floor!

Tomorrow night I’m assessing a course in Istanbul. The main course tutor is in Singapore and the assistant tutor is in São Paulo. A few of the trainee teachers are based in Iraq!

My selfie tonight is one for the record as I think I might get my hair cut this week. It's the longest I’ve had it in decades, has to be clipped up for the heat and so that it looks ok-ish.
