Ferdy the teapot mouse chats with a woodmouse that’s just overnighted in a deluxe Longworth small mammal trap - B&B with fresh clean straw bedding, seed and larvae to eat....what’s not to like. There were plenty of takers in this morning’s wildlife site survey. And I was home in time for porridge and out for another bubbled up cycle ride to a new (to me) cafe where there was actually a horse at the neighbouring table. Truly. Along with a dog, small child and accompanying adults.
